Madeleine Danova, PhD

MDanovaMadeleine Danova is Professor of North American literature and culture in the Department of English and American Studies at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. She has published extensively on American and Canadian literature, literary modernism, mass media, ethnicity, nationalism, and cultural identity. She has been involved in several international projects on mass media, intercultural communication, ethnicity and English and Canadian studies. She is the author and editor of books on mass media, nationalism, identity, and postmodern biofictions. Her most recent book is The Jamesiad: The Postmodern Lives of Henry James (Polis, 2011).
