Creative writing with Dr. Tom Phillips
The course consists of four independent weekend workshops (6 hours a week).
They can be taken in isolation, in any combination, or as a package.
One week/6 hours: 90 lv. (15 lv/hour)
Two weeks/12 hours: 168 lv. (14 lv/hour)
Three weeks/18 hours: 234 lv. (13 lv/hour)
Four weeks/24 hours: 288 lv. (12 lv/hour)
Time: 18:30-21:00
Each week there is a different topic:
10, 11 February: Let’s talk about love (and wine)
17, 18 February: Storytelling and place
24, 25 February: Building a character
9, 10 March: Smart dialogue

Dr. Tom Phillips is a poet, playwright, translator, journalist, editor, and university lecturer with a PhD in creative writing from the University of Reading. As a translator, he has translated everything from the poetry of Geo Milev to the autobiography of Hristo Stoichkov, from business and government reports to marketing materials. His own writing has been published in numerous magazines, anthologies, pamphlets and books and he has taught at the universities of Sofia, Reading, Bath Spa and Portsmouth, as well as for Sofia Writing Challenge and Bristol Folk House.
N.B. Intermediate and above level of English required.
